Lincoln is the proud host of two farms that were in operation in the 1770s and continue today-Codman Farm and Flint Farm.
Each farm represented two very different families—one, Loyalists of great wealth and stature who had others do all the labor, and the other, Patriots who farmed the land themselves. Lincoln Historical Society, Codman Community Farms, and Historic New England/Codman House are collaborating to present: A Tale of Two Farms A Tale of Two Families Part 1 Join us for tours of the farm and house, with 2 presentations on agriculture in 1775 in the Codman Pavilion.
