Hi Lincoln Talkers. I have a baseboard hot water heating system on a high-efficiency gas boiler. In a power outage, I lose heat because no power for the pumps and system controls. I have a manual generator I use if I am home, but I am concerned about losing heat while I'm away. I am thinking I can get a battery backup system that automatically switches over to just power the heating system (and internet) to make sure the house does not freeze in a cold spell with no power. So not a "whole house" system, but just something for the heating system. I've heard good things about a few different battery systems, but I'm looking for a company that could install such a "partial house" system for me. I will follow replies here, but also welcome you emailing me suggestions directly. Thank you!
Warm regards, Rick
