What I've observed as a parent in that orbit with a kid whose MCAS marks are off the charts great, is how 'out of the loop' socially those 'other' kids are compared to those who communicate.
Those kids aren't invited to events, birthday parties, social gatherings, have difficulty socially adjusting and in many ways ostracised from their peers, not because the other kids proactively dismiss them but because this is how kids communicate - as social experimental parents whistle away.. Bad idea in my opinion. I certainly understand the 'risks' however that's where engaged/smart parents offer guidance.
