We have Verizon Fios. The WiFi signal from the wireless router provided by
Verizon reaches everywhere in the house well enough, except for one
basement room. We have a Verizon WiFi extender device but testing has shown
that it doesn't help (there or anywhere else in the house).

In theory we could run a solid cable connection from that router (which is
on the second floor) to the basement room in question, but that would be a
long, tricky route. Has anyone solved a problem like this, and if so, how?
Does this need a electrician, who knows how to snake a cable through walls
etc? Other ideas? Thank you!
