Hi, LT! One last email from me to remind you of hours through the end of the year and last-minute suggestions for gifts (none of which will seem last minute!), which I am happy to wrap for you as long as I don't run out of supplies.
If you're headed to a friend's house for a party or for the weekend, you can't go wrong with a bottle of bubbly dressed up with a *Skippy Cotton disco ball, Elton John, David Bowie or Sargent Pepper ornament ($32)* or a set of vintage cocktail glasses. Treats for breakfast are always a good idea: *Brin's preserves ($10)*, *Curio sugars ($10)*, an assortment of nut butters, granolas, teas, or *Tree Juice maple syrup ($16)*. And if you are cooking up a gift in your kitchen, we have a full range of *glass jars and bottles from Le Parfait ($5-$14)* that they will be happy to have once they've polished off whatever you've made. The shop has *something for every stocking*: Japanese office supplies and incense, pretty hair clips, unusual and fun beaded brooches from Paris, socks for big and small feet, little flower presses, beautiful brushes, Wildsam field guides for local adventures, notebooks, sticky note and pencils, sewing supplies, organic balms and salves for winter skin, beeswax candles for hygge and cakes, spice mixes and special pantry ingredients, a full range of hot sauces, the best chocolates, sour Swedish fish, oversized candy sticks, caramels, and so on *(most under $30)*. There are a handful of *Lincoln sweatshirts ($68)* still available (1 Medium, 3 Large, 1 X-Large) as well as *handmade gifts and signed books by local authors*. And finally, if you can't make it in, or would like one less thing to worry about and deal with, *I am happy to deliver a TLG gift card in a little silver sleeve, with a note from you, to any mailbox or location in Lincoln*. (Credit to my friend Vickie for inventing this idea!!) Minimum $25, please, and I will make the deliveries on the morning of Monday, December 22. *If you would like to order one, please send me a separate email with "Gift Card Delivery" in the subject line*, and include the amount, recipient's name and address, a brief note that I can write for you, and a cell phone number where you can receive a link to pay from the store. (I can also deliver a gift card to your house, if you prefer.) *The Little General is open today (Saturday) from 11 to 6, tomorrow (Sunday) from 11 to 3, closed Monday and Tuesday, and open on Christmas Eve from 11 to 3. * Thank you all *so much* for your support in the last year and for spreading the word to your pals. *Happy Holidays, Lincoln!* Lis
