Hi folks,

Having been sitting on a Windows machine for a while and becoming a
veritable Balanchine with my choreography of 'preloadmember' and
'unloadmember', I sat down on my Mac today and started looking into the
loading of a large sound cast member on a totally different project.

I was dismayed to find that (as the online help so inscrutably puts it)
"The Memory inspector is not available on Macintosh."

Is there a story behind this? Is OSX memory management so fabulous that
Director no longer needs this widget (yeah, right), or did it just slip
off the end of the list of priorities?

I don't use the Memory Inspector tremendously often, but when I need it, I
really need it.

Any info to be gleaned? Can we get this on the wishlist please?

Brennan
