Hi,

I am looking for ideas on how to increase the functionailty a small
testing application.
Basically, I want to make a small system tray application that will sit
in the background and monitor the staus of a running projector.

This would mainly be for testing the long time running performance of
kiosk type applications.
So far, I have added information on system information, such as cpu and
memory usage, this is tested and written to a log file on a regular
basis that the tester can set, e.g. 5 minutes.

What I really want to add, is some sort of check that I can add to
define if the projector being tested has thrown an error of any sort,
i.e. a pop error. Does anybody know of a test I can make in lingo to
achieve this.
The test has to be made by an external projector, as this is a final
phase of testing and we do not want \ or may not have the ability to
change the projector being tested.

Any ideas appreciated.

Thanks

Tim
