Hello Dan, If you installed the V12-DBE Xtra in the right Director directory and the mention of the Xtra does not appear in the Xtras menu, then it is possible that you installed the wrong version of the Xtra.
When you downloaded the Xtra from INM website, the .sit file should of contained three folders and one HTML file. This .sit file has two version of V12-DBE for Mac. One is the PPC version, to be use with Mac OS9, and the one is the Carbon version, which is the one for the Mac OSX. Because of some programming constraint, we had to name the files identically, but they are in fact different. If you look at the files or open the Info menu, you will see that there's not really any difference in the information beside the date and time of creation. So in order for you to differentiate them, either refer to their date of creation (PPC: Thursday May 27th, Carbon: Monday, May 17th) or the folder they came in. See if changing the V12-DBE Xtra for the Carbon version resolve the problem or if the same issue occur. When I run director, I dont get an option to register the Xtra from within the drop down Xtras menu. When I run a project that needs the Xtra I get an error - questioning the lingo relating to the Xtra... Does anyone have any info...?
