I'm not the one who programmed Eudora, can't pin that on me. And to my credit, I think I milked Eudora for as far as I could.
Tongue was firmly in cheek on that one. ;)

Alternatively, maybe we should wait and see what shakes out of this Adobe thing. Could be terrific for Shockwave, or just one more move away from Director.
That's my vote, if there is a vote. I'd hate to see this list die completely - I'm just a little sad that it's died down in terms of traffic. It was a wonderful resource for me when I picked up Dir, and though I too have now moved on to mostly Flash, I still feel the need to pay my debt. I always looked at this list like social security in reverse - you take, and later you give back. I still owe some knowledge.
Plus, I think of all of you, whom I've never met, as friends, even if I've annoyed some of you with my OT rants. It's not just a list, it's a community. I think I joined around '97 or '98, and feel like I "know" quite a few of you. I love lingo-L... if it dies, then I only have dir-game-l left. ;)
2 cents, And sorry I started a thread where Tab questioned the future of Lingo-L, Kurt
(Notice I didn't end each sentence with an ;. My heart is still thinking Lingo)
