unfoprtunately you can only append a string.
while it is very useful, that it preserves the existing formatting
and links, it won't append formatted text with links, instead all the
appended text will be formatted like the char preceeding the
position, where the string was appended.
has anybody already mentioned, that the text xtra is in urgent need
of an overhaul ?
concatenating two textchunks would be very welcome, when we are at
this point.
