What happens if you put a breakpoint in the offending script's 'new' handler? What shows in the call stack? Have you enabled the traceScript (is that the correct term? Sorry for the email advice without dbl-checking) so you can get a Lingo dump of what code is executing in your Message window? In short there is no magical answer so all we can offer is debugging tips for now... :(
