Laurie,
First off, when replying please do not reply directly to me and to the
list, simply reply to the list and I'll notice your post come through.
Sending to me directly bypasses the filters I have set up and as such
things like this can clog my normal Inbox as opposed to being routed to
my carefully arranged folder structure (yes, I'm anal retentive about
emails and such but it helps keep me organized :) ).

I do get the same result and no, I don't know of a solution to that one
as the browser window does seem to go inactive (the titlebar greys out).
I've filed a bug against this so we can hopefully address it in the
future, but for now this seems to be a fact of life, sorry.


Thought: perhaps browser-based JavaScript is better able to detect the
window losing focus in that case and can message the Shockwave movie
that it should deactivate (look into evalScript and externalEvent). Just
a thought, yes, it's wonky but it also may prove workable/acceptable.
