For Mac OS X, you can use "Cron Jobs". I think the crontab is at
/etc/crontab, but for non-unix-geeks using a frontend like Cronnix
(http://www.abstracture.de/projects-en/cronnix) might be a betther
choice.

Hi Michael,
I'm not sure about the Mac, but on Windows you can go to the control
panel, click on "Scheduled Tasks", choose a program, and set when you
want it to run. Choices include daily and on startup.
