Hi Tim,

I don't know what Nik's solution was, but a possible solution is to use an image with the DVD file system and mount it. In OS X you can use DMGs or toast images, on the pc you can e.g. use Nero to create it and a tool like Daemon Tools to mount the image.

Cheers,
Valentin

Hi Nik,

I am looking at doing a similar thing in the next few weeks, can you
share your findings with me so I don't get stuck in the same hole.

Thanks

Tim

Hi,

Please don't tell me that when I develop with a video DVD I have to
have the DVD finished on a DVD disk before I can start development on
teh director file!

I am authoring the DVD and the Direector file that will display it at
the same time and I was planning to save teh DVD as a volume (i.e. as
a 'Video TS' folder with its VOBs, etc) but it seems I can't import
that into Director --

I hope I am so far missing something!!!

Thnks for any ponters!!!1
