You're asking questions that I cannot answer, both because I might be
prevented from doing so by my employer and because some of it is just a
bit too general. What I can say is this, Adobe is showing very positive
interest in the product and continuing to carry the product forward. In
case you haven't been paying attention there have been rumors of
Director's demise since I started with Macromedia in _1998_ (possibly
even before that)! Here we sit a full seven years and four major
releases later and we're still plagued by "it's definitely dead now!"
rumors. Don't believe the hype... And yes, I realize that some outward
positive hype is warranted, Adobe also seems warm to finding ways to
make that happen as well. Beyond that I cannot speak in greater detail
at this time, stay tuned as we work on getting the positive hype machine
going for '06. :)
