Yep, I'm excluding Xtras & including these .dlls:
        dirapi.dll
        iml32.dll
        MSVCRT.dll
        Proj.dll

All with Dir 10.1 (.dlls from Director's cross-platform resources folder on Mac). Win98 SE2 with no other Shockwave install. No problems on Win2000 or XP.

Project is a full-screen windows projector with several MIAWs. Crashes most often when opening a dialog MIAW, though putting in trace code frustratingly tends to make those crashes stop. Otherwise will crash eventually, generally when moving from one stage movie to another.

The one third-party Xtra I can think of that gets called during at least some of the crash times would be FileXtra4. Anyone have specific problems with this Xtra on Win98?

cheers,
jamie

Nothing but success here. What is your final package looking like? Do
you exclude xtras and have an xtra directory? If so, do you include
the .dlls in that? If not, that might take care of the problem.
