I've got an odd problem. I have a Flash sprite with an editable field in it. On the Mac, if I use the keys from the subject line, they work as expected - they move the cursor to the appropriate place. On Win (XP, that is - haven't tested other flavors yet), however, an "unknown char" box gets inserted in the field.

To add to the confusion, if I put an editable text member in the sprite, those keys insert a space (or maybe that's just the Mac's way of rendering the dreaded box) on the Mac side.

Running the flash movies in a browser, the keys work as expected, so it seems to be a Director issue. I tested both Flash 7 and Flash 8 sprites, with the same result. Though I have not tested a Flash 7 sprite with the Flash 7 xtra - perhaps it's a Flash 8 xtra issue. Regardless, I can't go back to Flash 7.

If anyone has run into this, let me know.
