Using my clients test site I get a script error going to one section. Ignoring that it seems to work although the top nav tends to pop out of view and you can't tab between fields.

Is it a Lingo script error, or a Javascript error internal to the site?
In the latter case, you may be able to get rid of the script error by switching off script error detection in the internet settings.

Another advantage of this approach is that you can easily trap for and prevent the user from going to a site that is off-limits
