     | Subject: <lingo-l> How Do Vandals Stop (break into) Kiosk Movies?
     |
     | I have several retail displays that are running Director
     | Projector Movies that have the TaskBar/Start Menu set so
     | it does not stay on top of other programs and the Movie
     | is set to full screen at 1024x768 resolution on monitors
     | set to 1024 x 768.
     |
     | Somehow people are able to stop the demo loop and get to
     | Windows.
     |
     | Are there security features of Projectors that make this
     | less likely?
     | How do you think people are accomplishing breaking in?
     |
     | Malicious pranks include deleting all folders from the
     | hard drive and, a new one today, putting a password on
     | Windows so no one can get to the machine. I know what
     | to do to prevent that, and that is create a low level
     | account for the account that runs the demo and then
     | putting a password on the Adminstrator account. I
     | should have done that first, but I didn't think anyone
     | could get in with nothing but a mouse connected to the
     | computer with a full screen Projector running.
     |
     | Any ideas will be most appreciated.
     |
     | Thank you.
