Hmm...no, but isn't there a site (something like whatis.org) that tells all the specs of each type of file?
I'm more interested in QT in a way - since qt on the system/app level (both mac and win) can copy and past tracks, etc into a new file, shouldn't there be a new quicktime xtra that can take that midi file you created, create a file that is a .mov file and paste that midi info into a midi track?
