Here are some things that might help to be able to adress your question.

Is your background image the same size as your movie window or have you done
any resizing in director to get it to fit? How many members do you have on
your score? Are your images static or animated? If animated, is the animated
gif full screen? Are you using a "go to frame" behavior on the score to keep
the play head where you want it or something else? Are you using any sound
files?

Let us know some more particulars and some of us can probably nail it down
for you. Heck maybe one of the gurus here already knows, but I don't.
