How are they "linked"? Do you mean that you have Director movies as linked
cast members?

The standard syntax for navigating between movies on the web (usually .dcr
files) is "gotoNetMovie('relativeOrFullURL')", with variations for
streaming/preloading.

The warning that the file is protected and can't be opened suggests that you
are trying to link to a Director file on the net from the authoring
environment, and not by viewing the movie in a browser.

Presumably "the url" is replaced by the url of the movie you are trying to
navigate to? Otherwise, if you are using behaviors from the library palette,
then perhaps you haven't entered the url into the parameters dialog of the
behavior that takes you to the next movie in your sequence.

If you are using version 8+, which "Publish Settings" did you choose when
saving the dcrs?
