Whatever else you might think of them, they are a standard way of
distributing software that needs to affect system resources. Since
projectors with embedded fonts are such critters, your objection
really is not relevant; it's kind of on par with insisting on seeing
a podiatrist for dental pain. Doesn't matter what you *want* to do.
