I agree that it has to be optimized as to the preload.
Although I think it takes more time to load an image from the file into a
cast member after the preload with
member("imported").fileName = "http://www. ...
and from there in a list with all preloaded image objects
gImageL.append(member("imported").image
than the actual preload. But there's no faster way to get the image into the
memory, is there?
