Anybody know if it's possible to detect mouse clicks in a projector's offstage border?
In director 5, I've polled the mouseDown (yuck!). I've also tried creating my own border with a large MIAW and playing everything else in a smaller MIAW on top. I've used DirectOS dosClipCursor. So far this has been the best solution, but ideally I like to avoid adding more xtras to the project. Next I might try rolling my own clip cursor function with buddy, which we're already using. But that's still a little klugy. I suppose we could resize the stage, but I think that would involve repositioning all the sprites at runtime(?). I see that director 8 on the mac now detects mouseDown in the projector's border, but solution needs to be cross platform. Am I missing anything?
