If you are telling your movies to forget themselves, you can get into trouble.
Beyond that I'd say make sure you're not calling the same movie twice
(i.e., trying to open the file at the same time from two different
places in your code); make sure you don't have shared resources that
have been opened for editing; etc.
Is Director giving you an error message when this happens?
