Only Director Mac can record audio
& it does it crudely ...
- it makes a cast member
& there's no control of sound format)
& one shouldn't try a long sound
(since it's trying to create a member in an unsaved movie, there are 
memory memory issues).

If you are looking for real-time ripping of live audio input to mp3 
while inside Director/Projector/Shockwave, MACR doesn't offer that.

It would be a nice thing though.
