You want to format individual words, lines, etc? Well, if you are
really using #text members (which are *not* the same as #field
members) you can look up the Lingo commands which are associated with
such things as selection, selStart, selEnd, selectedText, etc.
Also the 'Lingo by feature' section of the Lingo docs is useful,
starting at page 31 and running through 34.
I am not trying to be difficult with you; however there are literally
pages of commands which can do what you want to do, depending on
*what* you want to do, and *how* you want to do it -- so to me it
makes more sense to point you in the general direction than to try to
write code for you.
