Hi all, another question, I am saving the text of a field to the hard drive, the contents of this field change throughout the movie. When the text file is imported back into director, there are extra characters at the end of each string. It appears that fileI/O doesn't completely re-write the text file, it only rewrites the the old characters with the new ones, so if there are fewer characters the older characters that made up the longer original string are retained at the end.
