i dono if the prob is already solved, as i'm a "digest reader".
we had the same thing in a project and the solution was like;
on myNewMovieRequest me
castlib("switch.cst").filename="switch" & string(glanguage)
preLoadMovie "myNewMovie"
go movie "myNewMovie"
end
maybe you have to toggle the preload and the filename change lines.....
