OK -- so it's not the NT or 2K issue which prevents embedded fonts 
from being used.

For starters make sure the right typeface name is selected in the 
text inspector (as mentioned by another, it will be "Arial *" rather 
than "Arial").

Then make sure your Text Asset and Font Asset Xtras are included for 
projector creation, as mentioned as well (it should be taken care of 
for you automatically when you slap a #text member into your cast, 
but if you've selectively removed them, well... ;)

Also check to see if you have a font manager (such as ATM) that might 
be interfering with the font embed (or render) and make sure the font 
manager has been updated to its most current release. That's kind of 
a long-shot but it can happen.

Also try re-embedding the font, but into a different cast member.

Finally, consider reinstalling Arial, as the font could be corrupted.
