Well, for play you could just do 'go the frame' -- for stop you could
try using 'pause'. It's offiocially deprecated but IMO there are
definitely times when you want the stage to *stop doing things
entirely*.
This is not necessarily the most elegant way to do things but it's
probably the simplest.
