I checked the file names for spaces before uploading again using (forced) binary format. Still exhibits bad behavior.
One new wrinkle to report... The faster the connection speed... the quicker the audio dies. T1 connection dies almost immediately.... whereas, dialup (42.6 kb/s) connection plays completely. Also... remember that this odd behavior only occurs in NS 6.2.x -- Mac or Windows. All is well in various versions of IE and NS 4.7.
