Hello list!

I have a series of 360 images which are nearly identical (3D-rendered images
of one object). I want to animate them with Lingo.

No problem, but as the 360 images in 24 bit color depth are too memory
hungry I wanted to use them in 8 bit color depth. As the images are mainly
black and white with some tones of blue, I would rather use indexed colors
than the windows or web216 palette.

I could save them in Photoshop in 8 bit mode and with indexed colors. When I
import them into Director, they are imported as 8 bit but
member(x).paletteRef gives #systemWin, not photohop's table of indexed
colors.

How do I get that into director for use with all 360 images?

Thanks in advance
