Hi,
I don't think we can say that there is one best xtra to manage database in Director.
There are a couple of choices and the final choice depends on what you want to do with
your text and images:
- Is your project Mac and Win?
- Do you plan on publishing it on the web?
Here is a list of the few best xtras to manage database:
- V12-DBE (www.integrationNewMedia.com) - good performances, really good tech support,
manuals and samples
- Valentina (www.paradigmasoft.com) - good performances
- Datagrip (www.datagrip.com) - just windows
How do you plan on segmenting your text? One big giant record? one record per page,
per paragraph...?
