        Yes. It�s not that hard (at least that part). You can create some 
primitives (planes, boxes, spheres, etc...) to make that hotspots and 
put them inside the skybox (they should be invisible in that case) and 
use modelUnderRay to detect wich one was under the mouse (when clicked 
or not).

        You can also may put the hotspots outside the skybox and use 
modelsUnderRay to detect the second model under the mouse (the first one 
is the box with the textures). Just a quick idea of how to acomplish 
these things or at least one way of doing it. By the way... Barry did 
all this with Director 7 or 8 for Volkswagen (I can�t find the link 
right now). Well, I cant even remember if they were hotspots or just 
lights turning on/off. Anyway... great stuff.
