but in using a timeout object it saves the cycles to check on each idle or exitframe the global variable. many ways lead to rome... ;-) like the killing of all sounds when forgetting a miaw (which is really an annoying bug, with no real workaround), the way miaws are dismissed should be revised in such way, that forget() doesn't remove the movie instantly from memory, but rather it should be 'garbage collected' and removed when doing the framely based 'clean up work' after all lingo events are processed. then a miaw could savely forget itself and these kinds of problems, which appear every once in a while on one of these mailing lists, should be fixed. but thinking a bit further, there are some weird things with miaws, that come to mind and would need a fix... let's hope for the next release ;-) -- ||| a�ex -- [To remove yourself from this list, or to change to digest mode, go to http://www.penworks.com/lingo-l.cgi To post messages to the list, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] (Problems, email [EMAIL PROTECTED]).
