That's a pretty tall order. Having been involved in lodging adminstration and reservations and rentals in a former life, I know what's involved, and unless you're doing some mini little bed-and-breakfast, there is a LOT involved in doing a full lodging system. If you want to talk to an existing system, then you need to get the API (interface documentation) for that system, but if you want to make your own, then there's a lot to do, and, respectfully, I'd say you wouldn't get it done in this lifetime (for a major hotel), by yourself, particularly if you aren't sure where to begin. Some friends of mine run a large lodging software outfit, so I can also put you in touch if you want to equip either a hotel or a casino.
