hello all

2 questions:

I have a simple room with several models in it created in 3ds max that I
imported as a w3d file.

The entire room and its contents are a little "tilted" in along the x axis I
think and maybe a little also on the z axis so that the camera looks down on
it in Director from somewhat of a bird's eye.

I am translating the camera through the scene with the arrow keys. The
unlevelness of the room is really evident once you get inside the room and
closer to the objects.

I thought that if I made the camera a child of the floor model (a simple box
primitive), it would make the camera "level" with the floor but neither
#preserveparent or #preserverworld were able to achieve this automatically.

So my two questions are:
1. How do I make the camera "level" with the floor to make a believable
walk-through, and

2. How to I add other 3ds max objects to this SAME scene after I create
them?

by the way, in terms of the room and it's models, I did
put scene.model("box01").getworldtransform()
and got

-- transform(1.00000,0.00000,0.00000,0.00000,
0.00000,1.00000,0.00000,0.00000, 0.00000,0.00000,-1.00000,0.00000,
0.00000,10.80512,8.62321,1.00000)
-- I am wondering if I should focus more on grouping all of the objects in
the room and aligning THE ROOM to the camera instead of the other way
around. But I'm not sure how to do this.
