Hello friends, I am using MIAW. The movie which is opening in a window consists of links to particular markers in different director movies. By selecting a particular item in a window, I am changing my movie on a stage to that.
I want to close the window when I select the item and double click on it. I wrote : forget window "mywin" In Windows 98 it is giving "illegal operation...IML32.dll" exception and closing the application. If I write : close window "mywin" forget window "mywin" In Windows 98 it is giving "illegal operation...DIRAPI.dll" exception and closing the application. This is working properly in Author mode...but not in Runmode. But, In Win NT / 2000 it is working fine and no problem at all in Run mode also. When i don't write the above code and explicitly click the close button to close my window then everything is fine. If I change my window type which is not having a title bar with close button how to close it ? For that I am using the above code. I am using Director 8.5, is there any problem with Director 8.5 itself or is it of my system problem. If anybody knows the solution for this please help me to proceed.
