I bet as soon as it gets past 255 chars. That seems to be the magic 
number for Director. The other one is 127 chars.

This doesn't sound bad until one realizes that the networked Win 
systems can end up adding all kinds of hidden directories to a path; 
you get things like the user's login, the desktop folder, personal 
files, etc., and before you know it none of your projectors work any 
more.

I really, really hope Dir9 will address this, because it is an 
absolute ball-buster of an issue, even more so than the embedded font 
thing. (Your app will still run with wonky fonts, after all.)
