I hadn't even noticed he was using tell the stage to close the miaw. That's as bad as the original problem, because ultimately the stack must unwind back to somewhere (the original context) and in this case, the original context is the window you were killing, so if it's gone, then the whole thing's shot to heck.
It is only a problem in runtime (projector) Windows.
