I have seen Windows behavior that resembles this, yes. It was not my project, but one of my students'. She was using some pre-made behaviors for QTVR that initialized a lot of properties lists such as lists of hot spot locations etc, on beginSprite.
The problem was that the QTVR wasn't fully initaialized itself at the moment of beginSprite, so the lists were just filled with nothing. This did not happen on Mac. The solution was to delay the construction of the lists and other properties a little. I used a timeOut(), but there are a number of ways to do it.
