Hi List. very off topic but where would we find a more qualified group to (hopefully) provide some feed back?
I am a lecturer in Multimedia and have been trying to define a more pertinent description of the type of undergraduate we should be aiming to produce. We wouldn't want to transform our Universities into training centres but, at the same time, it may be opportune to redefine some of its roles , especially in relation to sciences like Multimedia. In order to arrive at a more contemporary vision of a graduate, I am trying to answer questions like: Who employs Undergraduates in Multimedia? What would an Undergraduate be expected to know? What would he/she be expected to be able to do? Any feedback would be extremely appreciated.
