Short answer: Don't do it.
Somewhat longer answer: Look into calls such as drawRect and consider
expanding your actual Director movie so it fills whatever screen it's
running on.
Longer still: When you dick with a user's screen resolution, you run a
substantial risk of trashing carefully-chosen monitor settings. Your
program is a *guest* on the user's system; it does not have the right
to move in, put its feet on the coffee table and rearrange the
furniture. If you program crashes, the user is left with a fouled-up
display and a pretty strong urge to hurl large amounts of extremely
profane words in your direction.
Hence the short answer.
