Set up a CGI on the server that acts as a communications go-between, I 
guess. Then have your Dir file periodically ask it if any new 
instructions have surfaced.

Why aren't you loading the Flash movie inside the dirfile? I mean, is 
there a definite reason they have to be running in separate instances 
and separate frames?
