It depends on the OS, of course. If the app is to run off the CD, a 
nice fast way would be to use BAPI (Windows!) to create a shortcut to 
the program on the user's desktop or in a PM group. It hsould ask for 
the CD each time it's double clicked.

On Mac, you wouldn't need an installer. The user would just pop in the 
disc and double-click the app each time. That might be the easiest way 
to do it on Win too.

Some might recommend autorun. I would not recommend it; there are far 
too many problems. Check the archives for the laundry list.
