Thanks Alan.  I had tried that approach, but forgot to disable the activity
flag used by the drag behavior.  It's working properly now.  Thanks for
putting me back on the right track.

I'm still curious why an errant right mouse click disables the left mouseUp
message.

I was unable to trap the right mouse clicks using any method.  Buzz, I had
already tried the ideas you suggested, but thanks for the info.
