hiding layer in flash from lingo

I'm exploring techniques for hiding a layer in flash using lingo. I've been reading the good articles at DOUG and combing the archives.

As my other brain cell begins to warm up, I was wondering if anyone would like to share a simple hello world type example of something like this.
