If you're using fileXtra, you should look at the fileXtra help notes, not
BuddyAPI ;)

Your script works on my WIN2K, although the title bar still says "Browse
for folder".

*Your* message shows up just under it, in the grey area.

Subject: <lingo-l> Is this a Bug in File Xtra 3?

Hi,

I entered the following in the movie script.

  set bfx=new(xtra "filextra3")
  set gpath1=fx_folderselectdialog(bfx,"select a
folder")

When executed,I wonder why the 2nd parameter in the 2
command does not display as a message. The Buddy api
Help file says ,"select a folder" will be shown as a
message in Windows in the dialog box. But had not seen
any of it in the dialog box.

The Dialog appeared just had a title mesage "Browse
for folder" instead of the one I entered.

Any help in this regard will be much appreciated.

Regs,

Biju V G
